THE FARM

The vineyard, the olive grove, the orchard and the vegetable garden create the heritage of a company that pays huge attention to the production process and to detail (home-made bread and pasta) which is the strength when presenting the best natural resources. The pastures, an important resource for the proper functioning of the agro-ecosystem, live free in the green forest along the estate, feeding mostly on what the season offers, in harmony with nature and the landscape that hosts them. Asustainable ecology based on energy saving through a small photovoltaic system with very low environmental impact. In addition water is saved through the collection of rainwater and wastewater in an artificial reservoir to be used for irrigation of land and gardens which reflect the main philosophy of sealing based on the protection of the earth and the surrounding environment.

Breeding

The wooded expanses of the estate of about 18 fenced hectares hosts herds of sheep in free pasture and pigs in a semi-wild state, fed by products grown in the fields of the estate, while the piglets obtain the fruits of the plants, supplemented in certain periods of the year from natural feed towards their needs. The wood is an ideal place for animal welfare, which finds refreshment and shelter under the various types of plants, coolness and delight in the streams of water that cross it.

Cultivations

The raw materials are selected and unique that are obtained by respecting the land of the estate. The herbaceous crops, wheat, seasonal vegetables, aromatic and medicinal plants are the richness of the restaurant; woody crops, fruit trees such as apple, pear, apricot, cherry, peach, plum, almond, persimmon, hazelnuts, wine grapes, olive trees, etc. are the wealth for primary production; forage crops, grass and hay are the wealth for our animals which are ensured the best living conditions and, above all, natural food.

Garden

Ornamental gardens, terraced lawns, bushes of Mediterranean maquis: the guests, walking along paths outlined inside the garden, will themselves in front of unusual perspectives and glimpses. Crossing the “gallery” of the fruit orchard with the smell of ripe seasonal fruits,you will arrive at the “garden of the five senses” inebriating yourself with the fragrances of medicinal herbsand then relax on the extensive meadows or rest under an age-old acacia, which tells the story of a rich location of pasts yet to be deciphered.
